We Are Hiring! Office Receptionist


We are looking for a full time (9am-6pm) Front Desk Administrative Assistant to organize our medical facility’s functions. You will support day-to-day operations by performing administrative tasks and ensuring high quality customer service for our patients.
 As our Front Desk Admin Assistant, you will perform various tasks on a daily basis. So, you should be able to multitask and prioritize. We also expect you to handle sensitive information confidentially. If you are able to combine exceptional communication skills with an ability to perform ‘behind the scenes’ tasks, we would like to meet you.

Office Admin. Assistant Job Duties:

•Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
•Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
•Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
•Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording and updating personal and financial information.
•Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges; controlling credit extended to patients; filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.
•Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs.
•Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
•Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

•Proven work experience as a Front Desk Receptionist in a medical facility; preferred.
•Hands on experience with medical software and MS Office.
•Knowledge of healthcare operations.
•Familiarity with medical and insurance legislation.
•Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
•Customer-oriented communication skills.
•High school diploma; certification in medical administration is a plus.
•Experience scheduling appointments
•Multi-line telephone experience.
