The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling a myriad of administrative duties in the back of the office, including billing support, scheduling new patients, retrieving authorization, managing new and existing patient records and supporting the practice manager. Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc.
• Manage and maintain files and patient records.
• Perform receptionist duties when needed.
• Update patient paperwork, maintain documents and enter information into databases.
• Retrieve authorization for Medicare and Workers Compensation patients.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist the billing department with processing claims.
• Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.

Requirements

Seeking Outpatient Physical Therapist


We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team. This fast-paced outpatient clinic sees a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and post-op rehabilitation patients. Patient care is the number one priority at our facility.

Our therapist needs to be a self-motivated, very organized individual with a degree in physical therapy from an APTA-accredited physical therapy program. Individual must have a current CA state license in good standing with the California State Board of Physical Therapy. We are more than willing to accept a PTLA and help that individual as they prepare for the Physical Therapy Boards. We are looking for full-time hours (40 hours), but are willing to be flexible for the right candidate. We are heavy on manual and therapeutic exercises. Experience with aquatic therapy and Pilates Reformer work is a plus.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

•Evaluating each patient that is specific to age, illness, injury and/or disease.
•TIMELY preparing a written plan of care based on evaluation findings.
•Supervising and implementation of each plan of care, coordinating treatment with support staff.

 As our Front Desk Admin Assistant, you will perform various tasks on a daily basis. So, you should be able to multitask and prioritize. We also expect you to handle sensitive information confidentially. Office Admin. Assistant Job Duties:

•Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.

•Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.

Requirements

•Proven work experience as a Front Desk Receptionist in a medical facility; preferred.
•Hands on experience with medical software and MS Office.

•High school diploma; certification in medical administration is a plus.
